Honours

A Bachelor Degree with Honours can be earned by adding a year of study to some bachelor degrees, or by studying an honours program concurrently with a bachelor degree of four years or more.

Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry

*The Librarianship and Corporate Information Management majors must be completed as part of a double major. These courses are not available to international students studying in Australia on a student visa.

Innovative Learning facilities

Curtin's Faculty of Humanities provides a learning environment designed to inspire. The digital creativity labs are powered by innovative technology and architecture workshops provide materials for ethical and sustainable construction. There are industry-standard facilities in radio, theatre, art and film and a hub for immersive visualisation and research, where you can see, touch and interact with realistic panoramas and stereoscopic virtual worlds.

  • Design and the Built Environment: Facilities include the Curtin Hub for Immersive Visualisation and eResearch (HIVE), 3D printers, an etching press, photographic darkrooms, a wood and metal workshop, and a large variety of industry-standard software.
  • Education: Curtin’s education building recently underwent a $20 million refurbishment and now features four industry-standard classrooms that replicate authentic school environments.
  • Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry: This vibrant school houses a variety of industry standard equipment and software which enable our students to gain skills and experience to graduate industry-ready.
