Industry snapshot

The advertising agency industry in Australia generates $2.3 billion revenue, which is predicted to increase 2.2% in the next 5 years (2017-22) due to a surge in demand for online advertising and positive business confidence. Increasing demand for mobile and digital media have changed the way we advertise, and created a fast paced and challenging industry that is future focused and dynamic.

IBISWorld identifies communication of innovative ideas as key success factors, linking this with access to highly skilled staff with creative and strategic thinking skills.

Growth in employment for advertising and marketing professionals has been strong over the past 5 years and expected to continue.
