What is Curtin PUPS? PUPS stands for People Under Pressure at School. We understand high school can be a stressful time in your life, and we want to help relieve the pressure and make sure your final year is a rewarding one.
Our solution? Puppies!
We’ve partnered with not-for-profit organisation SAFE Perth to bring puppies to Perth high schools!

Year 12 students from St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls were the first to pat, cuddle and play with adorable SAFE Perth puppies to help them stay positive during their final year of high school.
Looking after YOU
High school can be an emotional whirlwind. It’s a place where study and exams can seem never-ending, social and sport commitments stack up, not to mention the pressure of getting into a good university.
But don’t panic! There are ways to stay positive. Simple ideas include:
+ mindfulness meditation
+ mindful colouring in
+ moving and stretching
+ taking regular mini breaks from your computer (around 5 minutes every hour)
+ going for a short walk outside.
