How to apply through TISC

Step 1

Step 1 - Login to the TISC website

If you're a year 12 student studying WACE courses at a WA high school or pathway institution such as Canning College or Tuart College, you'll already be registered with TISC.

Login to TISC

If you're a non-school leaver who has not registered with TISC, sign up at the TISC registration page.

Step 2

Step 2 - Submit your course preferences

Enter your TISC preference codes in order of which course you most want to apply for, followed by your second preference and so on. You can either use the course search on the TISC website or the TISC Guide to get the codes you need.

Tips for submitting your preferences

  • You can add up to six preferences. It’s advisable to include a range of alternative and back-up courses just in case something unexpected happens.
  • You can logout at any stage during the applications and return to finish it later. Your application won’t be lodged until you declare it and pay the submission fee.
Step 3

Step 3 - Lodge your application

Follow the instructions, answer the few remaining questions and declare your application. You'll be asked to declare that all the information you have provided is correct and to pay a fee to submit your TISC application.

Your online TISC application is only activated once payment has been made.

What happens next?

Your results will be released on 19 December 2017, so make sure you revisit your TISC preferences when results are released in case you need to change them to reflect your ATAR.

There are two rounds of university offers. If you’re accepted into a Curtin course, you’ll receive an electronic offer from Curtin which is sent to the email address you provided in your TISC application. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by TISC around the same time.

Those who are qualified for Curtin but are unsuccessful in the main round will automatically be reconsidered in the second round of offers.

If you do receive an offer of admission into a Curtin course in the main round, you can accept or defer the offer, or wait for second round if offered your 2nd – 6th preference. You can accept your offer through OASIS. Log in with the student number found on your letter of offer and click on EnrolNow!
